But he really wasn't up for being social.

He just needed to get the conclusion written on this article, then he could send it off and forget about submitting to journals for the rest of the summer.

Or at least until he was finished in Egypt.

Janet let herself inside Daniel's apartment, and dropped her backpack in the foyer.
