On the inside of the sleeve of Le Carillon it reads:

all songs ©2001 saturnine anvil (ascap)
except "Just You and I" ©twin peaks productionsWhat's this about? Does one of the songs on Le Carillon borrow from this song? Is this a printing error about a song that ultimately wasn't included on Le Carillon? I'm a Twin Peaks fanatic and i recognize

I don't remember which episode it was in, and honestly, The Autumns cover was the first time I consciously even recall the song. But I hope that URL can give you the lead you are looking for.

I just popped Fire Walk With Me in the DVD player to investigate, though i'm most positive no song on Le Carillon is a cover of a song taken from this film. I watched Fire Walk With me five times in two days last week, as it happens, which is why i only now call myself a Twin Peaks fanatic, whereas i'd seen the TV series before yet was merely a casual fan. But i digress.

Where did you get this cover you speak of, or do i misunderstand you? Can you send me an mp3?

ohh... that song is not on Le Carillon at all.

they released it on a covers EP the diameter of a shoe polish can. It was definitely recorded in the vein of a Le Carillon tune. But, I can imagine that licensing issues or album duration might have prevented it. Jana Wittren Heller of The Arrogants noticeably sings backup vox on the number.

you can order it from the band on their site. I highly reccomend it. They do "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" from The Smiths, "With the World Behind" from Lift to Experience, yet the first track is an amazing cover of "Time of No Reply" from Nick Drake--a classic recording from the band.
