The men finished a fine dinner of goose and potatoes. The servants replaced empty plates with tea for Norrington and Gillette. Sparrow kept to his grog. Gillette then broke the silence. “What about Tia Dalma? Do you think she was trying to ward Jones away from you, sir?”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh!!! Shiny new chapter! *bounces up and down*

Love, love, LOVE Naval!Norrie and how competent he is! LOOOVE Tia´s entrance! How do you manage to get her voice so right? (*I* had trouble to even understand her properly...)

And oh, James - you´re in for a ride... This is so promosing! They fit so well together! (And they´d *look* so good together, too... *cough*)

On I sidenote, your OC names make me smile. :)

Thank you so much for writing this!

I am pleased to hear that you loved chapter one.:) Needed to have Norrington be more Naval and less the screaming bloke with the tricorne hat. ;) For Tia's accent I used a Jamaican dictionary that I found here.

Oh yes - he is in for a ride, indeed!;)

Glad the OC names were to your liking. The captain's name I took from my late grandfather's name (Edwin DeVere). He was a sea merchant in Barbados along with his father. My great grandfather was a rum runner providing rum in America during the Prohibition. They both originally came from Kent, England.

You are quite welcome! <3

Oh! Thanks for the link!

Seafaring ancestry? How cool is that? (And who dealt with the rum runners? Our bloody friend Norrington... ;D Time for a crossover, my dear!)

- Would it be OK if I did today what I did last time you posted a chapter?

You're welcome.

Yep. And my grandmother's father was a sea merchant but he died at sea.:( Guess it's in me blood. LOL! Oh I'm sure a version of Norrington was in the mix somewhere.;)

I think it's my turn to return the favor of a call. E-mail me your number, k? If I don't get to you today I will with all haste the following weekend as I know the difference in time is well...different.;)Oh, in your e-mail let me know when it would be a good time to call you.

You're a diamond, mate! <3
