Now that Fraser was back Ray felt like he could breathe again. The stress should have been gone. Should have, but wasn't.

Ray sat outside the Compound, a piece of paper and pen in hand. On the paper were the names of those still missing. And if they weren't found there were about three outcomes for them, Ray figured. #1 They were killed in the hurricane. B. They were killed by a dinosaur. And C. They disappeared. He hoped it was #3. The running theory of the disappeared was that they went home, and home was better than becoming tricerachopsuey.

Violet Baudelaire, the girl who'd been kidnapped way back when. Natalie Cook, the pretty blond. Simon Tam, Ray had no fucking idea. It was a big island, a lot of folks, Ray could never know all of them. Could never be responsible for all of them. Yet somehow, in some way, he sorta felt he was.

With a sigh Ray folded the paper back up, shoved it in his pocket, and headed inside. He was frustrated, he was angry, he was down, he was tense and he needed something to calm his nerves. Into the bathroom he went, into the cabinet and out with the hair gel. Yeah, that was Ray's secret, experimenting with his hair made him happy.
