Logan wasn’t depressed… well, alright, he was, he just wasn’t exactly sure why. Things were going well for the most part it seemed. He had Neil moving in and Veronica seemed to have gotten past hating him. Duncan hadn’t thrown a punch at him in over a week… The hut was done. What more could a guy want?
Still, things felt heavy, and despite all the good, he found himself dwelling on the bad things of the past. Lilly mostly.
It wasn’t fair, all he wanted was to enjoy something for a bit, and he couldn’t even seem to let himself do that.
The rec room was oddly empty, and Logan sat on the couch, staring at the wall. He had almost zoned out completely when the jukebox decided to speak to him for the first time in days.
You see 'em drop like flies from the bright sunny skies
They come knocking at your door with this look in their eyes
You've got one good trick and you're hanging on you're hanging on...
To it
You took the word and made it heard
And eased the people's pain and for that
You were idolised, immortalised
And you were not the same after that
Walking tall, you'd bought it all
And you were not the same after that
Till someone died on the waterslide
And you were not the same after that
(Logan wallows in his lack of misery in the rec room. He meets Elizabeth Bennet, and is incredibly rude to her (even though she looks just like the smoking hot Keira Knightley). He has a talk with Billy, and it’s really hard to tell who’s more unhappy (probably Billy, though Logan will swear it’s him). He has a surprisingly well-behaved cuddle with Pam, who tries to cheer him up.
He also has a very strange and depressing conversation with Ephram Brown, who he insults repeatedly and then competes with to figure out whose life sucks worse.
Veronica also joins him during his wallowing. The two manage to have a friendly conversation and decide that the only way for there to be trouble is to go looking for it. Together they put together a plan to go see Voldermort. All is well until Logan opens his mouth and makes things awkward.
Lastly, he is joined by his boyfriend Neil. They talk about how some people are just doomed and the fact that Neil would look hot in a dress (Neil disagrees). They end up making out on the couch.)
