The move from living in a tree to living indoors had been firmly cemented by the snow. While it appeared the huts had been turned into cabins, there was no such luck when you didn't even have a roof.

Luna sighed, resting her cheek against the arm of the sofa in the rec room. She did like the fire, its warmth and crackling and the smell of it. She was distracted, thinking of winter at home and of where she might like to ask for her hut to be, when it could be built.

For once, her dreamy, far-away look actually signalled her being far-away.
