Anita didn't frolic and she certainly wasn't used to cold weather, well at least not weather this cold, so she went around most of the time recently with a scowl that would deter even the most brave. The only good thing to happen recently was that things finally went to that next level with Andrej in spite of her natural tendency to avoid, and to keep avoiding like there was no tomorrow.
She hoped to get to spend more time with him, and perhaps to find something that could distract her from the cold and from the fact that Christmas was coming upon them quickly and there were people back home that she would probably never see again. She hadn't much seen the point in celebrating Thanksgiving because really other than Andrej there wasn't much to be thankful for on the Island, at least in her opinion.
What happened next Anita would love to blame on the Island. It was some conspiracy meant to remind her that things weren't in her control, that while thankfully she didn't have to deal with the ardeur here she had lost several of those wonderful perks one of which was being much harder to hurt.
She was entering the compound and may or may not have been grumbling under her breath when she tripped over something, probably her own feet, and landed on her hand. Luckily there was no crunch that could have been very bad but the pain was enough to make her yell out. "Fuck." She got herself up slowly and glanced down at the hand holding it carefully biting her bottom lip.
(OOC: Summary: Anita isn't much for holidays, frolicing or anything of the sort and when she gets ready to enter the compound she manages to sprain her wrist. Andrej hears her 'cursing' and comes over convincing her to go to the clinic where he wraps it and asks the normal questions. There is a bit of tension since they have finally gone all the way but it is only minor and they decide Anita should stay with him for the night. They go in search of food, then end up enjoying their time together in a more intimate way and Anita decides this is the best form of pain relief (FTBs).)
