Callahan had thought about this for a while, and finally he realized that he was being a damn fool for even questioning it. He'd been putting it off for a while, he knew, but what better occasion to go back to preaching than Christmas?

In careful penmanship he wrote up a notice and posted it prominently on the bulletin board.

Christmas Eve Mass

in the Church
December 24, midnight

everyone welcome
no matter what religious affiliation
(or lack thereof)

presided over by Father Callahan

He'd been to the Church, pleased to find it fortified for the winter weather, and thought that if he could gather together enough candles it would be rather perfect for a midnight mass. What was the worse that could happen? If no one showed up, he could say a prayer and spend the holiday with God.

[OOC: Feel free to just have your character react to seeing the notice later, or to talk to Callahan while he's standing there]
