first time meetings;
Padme was situated in the rec room, Sola lying in the bundle of blankets in her lap. She spoke quietly to her daughter, running her fingertips over her pale cheek. She really was a beautiful baby, she thought. Of course she was biased, but she was.
Padme laughed when Sola made a face at the fingers on her cheek, and then tiny hands stuffed themselves into her daughter's mouth. "You look silly. Does your hand taste good?" She smiled again, and smoothed the little hair that Sola had. "It looks like it tastes good. You know, your cousin Puja kept putting her feet in her mouth. It's good to see that you have better manners." She knew that it was just hat Sola didn't have the mobility yet, but she smiled all the same. She looked up with a smile when she heard footsteps, a bit greatful to see someone who wasn't just focused on sleeping and eating.
