Things had been a little strange lately, but it seemed things were beginning to return to normal again. Wallace doubted that would last long, not that he didn't particularly enjoy what had happened the week before. He didn't really know what to think about George, and he hadn't seen her since that day. He had considered looking for her, but it occurred to him he didn't actually even know where she lived.
He figured he'd bump into her eventually.
For now, though, Wallace was a little bored. He hung out in the rec room, lying on one of the couches, one leg hanging off the the couch's leg. The bookshelf had given him some random book called The Book of Ratings, which actually ended up being pretty funny. It was the sort of thing you read when you had nothing better to do, though suddenly he felt like having a Twinkie, which had gotten an A+ in the Hostess Products category in the book.
The island really needed to get a vending machine of junk food or something one day.
