OK, yeah, he'd brought it on himself. He understood that. He got that. But still, Duncan hadn't felt so low in a long time. At least when he was hit with Lilly's death, he had the good sense to not remember it, but this... It was a dull pain. A sort of really painful calm before the storm. What happened when this bottle of his meds ran out? What would the pain turn into?

In just his far-too-loud yellow and orange board shorts, he dove into the ocean. Yeah, it was a little cold, but the water felt nice. Real. And maybe he felt at peace with it, since it was something so calm-feeling and yet so torrential. Of course, Duncan's fits weren't ruled by the moon.

He was alone in the hut, that was the other thing. He had no idea where everyone had gone, but the yelling had stopped. It had all stopped. Logan was nowhere to be found. Neil was... also scarce and that hut was eerie in the dark. It was eerie in the light, as well. Logan was right, it wasn't home, not to Duncan. It was a bamboo trap.
