It's a Happy, and Comfortable, NDPD!

When Anita had woken up that morning it hadn't taken her long to realize that something was different. Instead of sleeping on top of a comfortable collection of sheets and comforters and all that she had gotten from the clothes box she was actually on a real bed. At first had come confusion as she had leaned her legs over the side of the bed and rubbed her eyes doing her best to process it. She knew the date and after a few minutes of thought realized that the Island must be giving people presents again, although most of the previous gift giving was kind of a blur. She dressed quickly not wanting to do any more thinking without coffee.

As she made her way to the Compound she realized how much better she felt. Of course the bed wasn't the only reason for the decrease in the amount of her tension, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise. She didn't bother to worry about what might go wrong for once, well at least until she got her coffee.

It was close to mid-morning so she didn't expect the mostly quiet atmosphere she had found in the kitchen to last very much longer. She didn't mind instead she found herself sitting so she could watch the door and sipping her drink thoughtfully. She might even brave the bookcase if things kept looking up.

(OOC: LT and ST always welcome.)
