Laissez les bons temps rouler! [Second Mirror]
The island had done it again. Whether it was pure chance or benevolence none of them would ever know, but somehow, someway, the place had seen fit to give them all booze again.
Not just booze (Although the booze was considerable)! The Compound kitchen and Hub were stacked with food, the whole of the Compound decorated inside and out, swathed in bright greens and purples and golds, and while all of this happened in the wee hours of the morning on the 5th, it was warm and festive (and increasingly loud as the day wore on) even were you still in your jammies.
The clothes box was overflowing with velvets and silks and feathers and beads, oh so many beads of all shapes and sizes, and were you an industrious sort of person, you collected a handful early for bribing later on.
