Having taken all the time he needed to complete the auditions, do some thinking, and rework the libretto so that it worked with the cast provided to him, Cole was rather pleased with his choices. He had a part for everyone who had shown interest, and had full faith in everyone's abilities. No one he felt he had to shuffle into the background, in any case. He'd even added a couple of songs from his other shows because he wanted them to have as much opportunity as they could to show off.

He posted the cast list, along with a tentative schedule for rehearsals, onto the bulletin board, and then walked away whistling, feeling quite pleased with himself.
