"Vote Jack Harkness pins! Get them while you can!"

Kon was just outside of the Compound. He had a stall set up and a basket full of pins he'd made all with the words 'Vote Jack' on them. He was taking his role as campaign manager seriously and might have taken some of his cues from Rex, despite the fact that he probably wasn't the best role model. He'd done well enough for Kon, after all. He'd started this because he was bored. Because he wanted something to do that wasn't just the partying and hanging out that he had been doing. That's how it had started.

Now? Now he was invested.

"Do you know Jack? I'll bet he knows you. He's been here for years. More than that, he wants to be here. He's made a life here and he wants to help other people make a life here."

It was a controversial subject to Kon. He'd been here for almost two years. He still wasn't sure whether he wanted to stay or not, but he appreciated the fact that Jack actually liked the place. He knew other people who felt that way. Did Lex want to go home? Did Anatoly? He was pretty sure he knew the answer for Lex, at least. Here he had the chance to not let history repeat itself.

"Don't want to stay? He's got something to say to you, too. Make the best of the time you've got. Carpe diem, right?"

He offered the person who'd just walked near, if not up, to his stall a pin. "Here you go."
