arrows, arrows, everywhere
Being cooped up in the rain gave Susan time to think, which gave her ideas. She'd been thinking of this off and on ever since she'd talked to Chase about it, and settling her wager with Jon earlier in the week had made her think of it again. So she found paper and pen in the compound, drafted up a notice, and pinned it to the compound bulletin board:
Archery Club
This notice is to gauge interest in an Archery Club. Anyone would be welcome, with any sort of bow and regardless of skill level, for practise and a bit of friendly competition.
If you don't have a bow but would like to learn, you are welcome to come along as well. Anyone willing to make bows and/or arrows for those interested, or teach others how to do so, please indicate when signing up. If there is a decent amount of interest, I will post another notice to announce the first meeting.
When signing up, please note your name, where you are from (if you like), what sort of bow you have, and your skill level. Also indicate if you would be willing to instruct beginners or make bows.
If you have questions or concerns, please see Susan Pevensie in the compound.
Below the notice was a large space in which to write one's name and other pertinent information. Susan made sure there was a pen to write with, hanging helpfully by a string from the corner of the board, before adding her own information.
