Breakfast in the rain
It was still grey and raining outside, and didn't show any sign of letting up any time soon, but Susan hardly noticed. She was busy at work cooking up a very large breakfast, since more people tended to come to the compound and eat when it was raining - fried pork, fried tomatoes, toast (with butter that Snow had churned), porridge, strawberry and plain muffins, and a platter of sliced starfruit, pineapple, and strawberries. Susan thought that it was too bad, really, that they didn't keep any sort of chickens or other birds for eggs, as that was really the only thing missing for a proper breakfast. There was green tea, coffee, milk, and fresh-squeezed orange juice to drink.
She probably went a bit overboard, but she didn't notice and wouldn't have minded if she did. Anyone who knew her could see that she was almost giddy.

Abby also comes by and talks with Susan for a bit before she and Chris talk about the weather and how they arrived on the island. Anthony corrects Elliot's pronunciation and talks to Susan about the fact that she's in a book (one that he doesn't like). Susan confesses to Lucy that Jon kissed her, and Lucy doesn't even say I told you so! Sansa asks Susan about Jon without acually asking (because that wouldn't be proper) and they talk a little about school. ]
