I also use Twitter and Google+, but neither really fits the "online diary" thing eljay does. I can't use either to go back and read about stuff going on in my life like I can with livejournal, or really go into what is going on in my life like livejournal.

They are not meant to, of course, Twitter is a chat program as much as anything; it's not really fair to compare them. They do different stuff.
