I really, really liked this chapter! Which is kind of funny because the invitation to this wedding that precipitated an important point in the relationship was a plot element that I had a hard time digesting. I don't get why people go to their former significant other's weddings. My sister had three ex-boyfriends and an ex-fiance at her first wedding, and as her maid of honor, I felt like I was a grief counselor.

But this does make sense for the story, and the payoff was totally unexpected especially since I hate that whole validated-by-having-a-man thing. I don't think that's what Chloe's reaction to Oliver was when she realized that he was there. I think was her reaction to missing the person she most wanted to talk to that is previewed when she was talking to Edward. I love the way you did that. It was so deftly inserted and so right for the relationship that you portray here.

I loved the little moment Jimmy and Oliver shared at the end of the chapter. At that point I was getting a little teary. That was lovely.

Wow! I think I might draw the line at inviting an ex-fiance. Sometimes I think it's sort of one thing to invite an ex from many moons ago that you've just stayed close friends with, but in Jimmy and Kara's case, I actually wanted it to seem a little insensitive. But I'm really, really glad to here that you read this chapter the way I intended it. Because I, too, am WAY against the idea that a woman needs a man to validate her etc. And it really wasn't about that, just that Oliver was there for her when she was lonely. And with Jimmy, I wanted it to be clear that even though he was insensitive about inviting Chloe, he definitely still cares about Chloe. How could anyone who's ever met our girl not?!? lol

Oh my god!! It's such an amazing surprise to see an early update here. I was just thinking about this fic today and counting how many days were left before the next update.

I loved this chapter. The Queens conversation was hilarious and I also really liked the Chloe/Edward scene. I didn't expected him to be the person who discovered their secret first but it's a nice surprise and he gave Chloe great advices. I really love him.
The Chlollie moment was so sweet. I can't wait to read the next chapter and to know who Oliver is texting to. But I'm also sad because the next chapter will probably be the last of this fic and this iss one of my favorite fics so I will miss it a lot.

I'm glad Ollie has finally decided to fight and that he was there for her, Edward and Laura are so amazing and hilarious, and the Chlollie moment was so sweet.
I can't wait for the epilogue, I can't believe that this story is going to end ...
