I remember he was to my right in the audience, and throughout our singing, I couldn't help but stare. I was terrified. It felt like he was taunting me, mocking me by lovingly cradling the very essence of my childhood fears, my darkest nightmares. It was so out of place; who, after all, brings a tarantula to a festival? It isn’t even practical.

i used to hold a serious dislike for spiders ( waking up every morning with atleast one new spider bite will do things like that to you) until i met someone who reminded me of one. now, i dont mind waking up with a bite or two, they bring back a solidly fun memory (first rave and all) and if a minor itch is the price i paty, so be it.
