i don't want to depress you on a monday morning, but i can't not comment again on the bloodshed that is occuring in lebanon. eating dinner with tim's dad on saturday night and hearing his first hand account on the senseless violence and destruction that is happening over there was distressing to say the least ... then reading the nytimes account of

"[S]enseless violence and destruction" is a misnomer. It's a carefully orchestrated policy by Israel to ethnically cleanse south Lebanon and destroy Lebanon's infrastructure.

Or as our Secretary of State called it, the "birth pangs of new Middle East."
