When you see this, post in your own journal with your favorite quote from The Princess Bride. Preferably not "As you wish" or the Inigo Montoya speech.
Couldn't choose just one...pantharosOctober 14 2008, 17:56:03 UTC
This script is one of the best pieces of writing ever made for the screen. Every line is outstanding. I managed to cut my favorites down to just these:
There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, it would be a pity to damage yours.
Inigo Montoya: Who are you? Westley: No one of consequence. Inigo Montoya: I must know... Westley: Get used to disappointment. Inigo Montoya: 'kay.
Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?...Morons.
Life is pain, highness. Anyone who says different is selling something.
Westley: Can you move at all? Buttercup: Move? You're alive. If you want I can fly.

I need to think upon this.

You mean you'll put down your rock, and I'll put down my sword, and we'll try and kill each other like civilized people?
