I haven't talked to you in a while. I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. I just got the message you left me. My phone has been out for some time now. I was in Portland, and sooo bummed I couldn't see you. As hard as I tried. Anyway, I really like this entry, it has an interesting feeling to it. As does most of your poetry. Gotta love it. hey alex. what happened is i had a party the night before, got home with two hours to sleep, and then went to work starting at 6:30AM. worked a long, hard 8 hour HOT day making non-stop frappucinos (god that store can get insane on a saturday), and then came home by 4 to nap. i wanted to wake up at 7 and head to another party, a BBQ, the last time i'd get to see my ex-boyfriend frank before he moves back to philly, but i overslept until about 10. i got your call, and for some reason the phone was fucked up cause it wouldn't let me answer and interrupt your message. so after it was over, i tried calling that number. however, it was long distance. so half-asleep, i got my calling card, and went through that process, but by the time i could dial the number i must have half-forgotten it cause i got someone else on the phone. at that point i went to listen to the message again to get the phone number one more time, but i still had trouble remembering it so i went back to sleep, got up at 10 and went SHIT, i can't miss this party, i
