Dude. If you want to get the normal user to adopt your operating system, I would suggest you have a consistant way of setting up the fucking resolution when you add an new fp monitor!

xorg doesn't seem to work anymore.

Gonna drive home now, after NOT doing what I wanted for my mother.

What video card? I had an issue getting the proper resolution on my card until I found this great utility called Envy. It gets your card info for ATI and NVidia cards then goes out and finds the best current driver for that card for you.
