Well, so glad that Ennis had the strength to find his way out, and that Jack was the first to see him and hold him. Will they let him ride in the ambulance?
Some interesting observations, which I am ruminating based on one of your replies to me. KE just watched and looked "shell-shocked." Phyllis said KE seemd like an ok guy under his "rough exterior." And last chapter or the one before, KE appeared to be crying because his brother was lost and no one could find him.
I do believe that even adults have the opportunity to change when they experience a significant emotional event. KE has that opportunity now, perhaps he will change.
Brian and his lovesick looks at Gavin!! Wonder if they will become a couple and if so will the two couples will have dinner some time after Ennis is better.
Like your story threads... lots more to come, I am sure!

Thanks, Bud. I enjoy hearing your thoughts. I think Brian and Gavin are pretty attracted to each other. I keep wondering what all they did out in the forest while searching for Ennis. *smile* Someday I should write a one-shot about that. Back to the story....yes, this has been a significant emotional event for K.E., and time will tell if he's able to put his archaic attitude aside or not. After spending time on the mountain observing Ennis and Jack's friends, hopefully he might be seeing that he's the one with a distorted view of how things should and shouldn't be. But old habits die hard of course. We'll see.

Well, however Jack gets there, the next chapter will take place in the hospital. :) I'll try to get back on Sunday postings for the last chapters of the story.
I am so so glad that Ennis has been found because I was really worried about him. So glad Jack decided to walk on. Yes ... All of his walking through the forest, and the photo shows the sun shining so brightly. Poor Ennis; I just hope he will be OK after all he has been through. So good, mona.
Nice to see you, Kathy. I'm glad that Ennis is back too, and that he found his own way out of the forest. I think he's going to feel very annoyed with himself for getting lost and causing the big fuss, not to mention when he finds out that his brother is there(!!!) so, at least he got out of the situation under his own power. Thanks, Kathy! xo
Thanks for reading and commenting, Linda. So good to see you. I think just hearing that K.E. is there will cause a problem for Ennis. Hopefully his vital signs won't break the monitor. More soon. ♥
I'm so glad Ennis found his way out of this misery. Hopefully he will recover fast. There are so many parts of your story to enfold. Can't wait to read more. Thank you. Christina

But I will answer cwby30's/Bud's question: It's California... Of course they'll let Jack ride in the ambulance!
