My first thought on hearing about the new airline was that i really should take should take advantage of it.  I'm sure i'm not alone in that.

How selfish is it acceptable to be?

Dear Mr Vodafone, when i miss a call, your 121 service calls to tell me i missed it.

I know!  Good, isn't it?

When i answer 121's call, a pleasant, female recorded voice tells me i have a new message waiting.

She's my PA.  You should see her.  Stunning.

Time out today was taken up by a visit to the Nagshead Nature Reserve, tucked away somewhere in the Forest of Dean. The Forest is one of the last scraps of that vast umbrella of woodland that used to shelter this isle from the rain, back before the sceptres came along and chopped it down to make their fires and ships and bows and houses. A woman rang our doorbell today and delivered unto my father a leaflet. It was glossy and brightly coloured and, she claimed, it was just one of billions that were being delivered to every household in the world. Can you imagine that, every household?
