Irvine Welsh's books are all written in Scots. Takes a while to get into, but well worth the effort.
Wish I had a more interesting dialect than the Queen's English, although over here it's quite exotic. I regularly try and convince Americans that we pronounce "potato" like we say "tomato". Occasionally works.
Yeah I'm currently reading Welsh's If You Liked School, You'll Love Work, which is thoroughly awesome! What're you up to in the good old US of A then lately?

I am not infrequently back in Manchester; I shall try and badger Smail to organise some form of reunion. I'm glad you're well. Hopefully see you in 2010!
