A turning point perhaps?

Well, it seems that I might actually get a girlfriend for once in my life. Sara, the girl from Texas I've been talking to online, seems really interested in me, and I'm certainly interested in her as well. I don't feel the same infatuation I did with the girl from Washington, but Sara and I are getting along really well and I'm really enjoying ( Read more... )

Meeting people from online is always hard, and a little nerve wracking. Even for some psycho-PR freak like me. Haha.

Good luck though. Just ride the wave and see where it takes you. =D

I'm sure it will be nerve wracking. But as weird as it sounds, apparently she's a bit precognitive (I'm skeptical, we'll see how true that ends up being, but hey, I'm keeping an open mind)and has seen that we do meet and spend all night talking. She couldn't say where or when though.

Thanks, I plan to ride the wave since maybe for once things will turn out well. I'm interested in seeing where it goes.

I don't think you have to have precognition to know you have chemistry with somebody, and that you'll end up talking all night. Sounds like some Miss Cleo shit. "I don't know when and I don't know where, but somethin' awful is gonna t'happen!" (Robin Williams Live on Broadway, 2002).

I'm not saying it's true, but I'm tying to give her the benefit of the doubt. She's given other examples of things not so inevitable, and vague, but until I meet her, I can't exactly verify it all. She says she usually has at least one 'vision' a day and usually it's random and not really relative to anything, but sometimes it is. As far as I know it's akin to dreaming something before it happens, which I have had happen my whole life, except that instead of forgetting the dream when you wake up until it happens in reality and you have that deja vu feeling, it's actually remembered.

Maybe it is some Miss Cleo shit, but she says she somehow attributes it to native american ancestry. Or maybe she's smoking peyote, who knows. All I'm saying is what I've been told, not that I necessarily believe all of it.

Oh good luck! I wouldn't worry too much, just go with the flow and it'll work out. Keep me updated =)

I'd worry if this "Sora" is friends with "Riku"...

Thanks. Don't know if I need a wingman or if I do, when. The only thing certain about us meeting is that she plans to check out UT sometime in the next few month, don't know about sooner than that.

Hmm, well not bad. Kudos. You don't need me to tell you not to rush in. You're level-headed enough. Well, if you need any help, you know where I am.
