For your pinholes (as I'm sure you're using since you said popcorn tin...) I suggest being more careful with your lighting... the contrast is great in the first one, but some areas are just too dark, whereas some are too washed out... not that you care... or that you want my advice...
yeah, that was just a test to get a rough idea for exposure time under different lighting conditions and stuff. I think I need to cut the time down a little bit, and maybe face a little more away from the sun?
