OD
Never trust a sailor on dry land. . The wolf is crying. Zombies are roaring like tigers over the husky, throaty panting of the streetcar, as it stretches its dizzied waving body over the rusty tracks. Carrying the dead.

OH, a zombie story. COOL. I was excited to see this, and even more excited to read it, since this is a fantastic story. I love your prose - it's sparse, but manages to communicate a lot with so little (I envy anybody who can do that, seriously) - and I love the pace you set and the elements you chose to cull in order to tell your story. This definitely feels like part of a bigger story, and your characters feel so very true-to-life that selfish little old me wants more!

I'm so sorry that I hadn't commented sooner! I read it the day you posted it, and then obviously got distracted by something shiny and wandered away.

This is...wonderful. I love how there's no direct conversation. I envy anyone who can do that well, like you!

Your descriptions are so vivid and shiny and wonderful. Thank you so much for writing this for me and sorry that yours took so long for m e to write. Hopefully you like it!
