Carpenter marathon anyone?

I'm not sure exactly when I'll be in Everett next, but when I am we need to have a John Carpenter Marathon. They Live, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Thing are must-sees. Those are the only ones of his that I have seen, so other people would have to come up with the other ones.

I thought "The Thing" was amazing. Did you ever see "They Live"?

I saw it a long time ago. I remember seeing parts with my roommate. He liked it a lot. It seemed like a fairly decent horror movie. I own the original version, directed by Howard Hawks, a much better director.

I've only seen the part of They Live that they parody in South Park's Cripple Fight episode, and I thought the South Park guys did a better job.
