So apparently everybody I know except Sarah and myself, are all broken up that the fucking Crocodile 'Untah finally met a creature that didn't like him fucking around

I agree, although I wouldn't express my lack of sadness in quite the same way. He did incredibly dangerous stunts involving dangerous animals, and he wasn't always bright about it. He was amusing, but, like Ben, I wouldn't consider him a pillar of the animal community. Just a man who provided comic relief to the sometimes boring world of animal biology.

I wasn't really bothered about it at all. It kind of takes a little joy from my life when somebody who so clearly lives, dies, but other than that, it was a man who loved animals dying like he lived - as pretty much a total badass. Reports are that he pulled the stinger from his own chest before dying.
