Agreed. People want him dead, but what's the point? He'd show up tomorrow and start up his shit again.

I'm for putting his chip back in.. not sure that'll work though.

Not everyone's bloodthirsty. So that's good, but I've got no sympathy in me for this guy.

I honestly do not know what can be done about Sullivan and the demonic presence that lurk within him...
I fear that perhaps this shall only be a momentary reprieve from the chaos that still lingers.

No cell or prison shall suffice to keep the demon at bay while the child within sleeps in horror.

The child earns my sympathy for only a child can ever be so cruel as to kill others to obtain the mother he lost.
I understand his woe but I can not condone his methods in coping with his loss.

People only change if they want to. Remember that.

Give it a shot. No.. that girl should. She's the only reason we caught him.

I can't be sympathetic, but maybe someone should be. There's plenty with the opposite feeling.

The girl? You mean the one who was with him before?
Aye, I do not know who she is but she may be the only one who can perhaps sway him to change.

Or perhaps it is the blind I have that still lingers from my days as a Knight of the Repulic...

This boy, he...damn him!

I am sure I shall be hated for being so easily swayed but a child is a child...

He killed people.

He is a child who unfortunately went down a wayward path...

He has killed, yes, I know.

Don't see me using that excuse.

He can grow up.

...you do not see many of us using that excuse and yet I feel the need to at least be a tad sympathetic for this wayward child.
I am sure Walter knows the difference between right and wrong, but I wonder if he really understands what he has done.

We must thread carefully in how we shall handle this matter with Sullivan, we can not simply throw him into the fire or hang the boy!
Instead of punishing him, perhaps we should teach him instead?

Educate him in his wrongdoings and explain to him as to why this ritual of his shall never return his mother to him?

I think I got what you're saying, but I don't think it'll be as easy to forgive him. If he cares more about his mom than any of us, then I doubt he cares about what we think, our feelings, or our lives for that matter.

I think that guy just needs to spend some time in a hospital or something. Not discedo's, but somewhere he can be helped. 'Cause I don't like what he's doing, missing his mom or not.

That is what I fear we can not provide for him, Sonic.
We can not heal his wounds here, he can not be healed in this world...

I do believe us citizens have reached a stalemate here as to what can done to this boy.

If we punish him, he shall learn nothing more than spite for us...

Yet, if we do nothing...we shall prove to him we are as feeble as we seem.

Maybe we can get his chip back in him. Has anyone tried to hit up any of the scientists as of late?

Few has suggested such a ploy but none seem to want to act!

The scientists? You mean the very hellions who keep us locked in here?!

Gabranth... Walter is... He's still a murderer. He never felt that the people that he killed were truly innocent, and those same people are... They're still suffering, along with the ones who have been left behind. You've seen it for yourself.

But he didn't kill them out of hatred. He killed them... to get back his most important person... his mother. That is only thing that he has always wanted out of this life, because it will make him feel safe from... a world that has only terrorized him.

It doesn't make it right for Walter to kill people, but... How can people try to cause him more pain without ever listening? When will all this tragedy finally stop?

Raz and I... wanted to try to talk to him to convince him that there had to be another way. A way for him to be safe and find his mother without having to kill anyone else, including... himself. But... even with that hope, we... we were too late.

[There is quiet, followed by a sad sniffle.]

Nill...

I am in a complete loss in what should be done as of now. We have in custody now but can we honestly end the cycle that has begun?

This cycle of never-ending violence and wickedness...

There has to be a way! I do not want this boy to continue down the road he has begun to walk!
He has to be stopped before it will be too late for him, yet...

Is it already too late?

My thoughts have never been so clouded, perhaps I should not speak about this in the open.

You have to decide on your own what you feel is right, Gabranth. Don't let me, or the others sway you in how you feel.

I only hope that this isn't too much to ask...

You have to understand the feelings of the others too. Many of the people who are angry now are victims of heartbreak, just like Testament was. Their loved ones were unfairly taken away from them, and they are still feeling the hurt from that. It won't go away so easily.

I... want there to be a way. I don't like seeing Walter tormented like this, but it's... not right for him to feel like he should take lives in order to find peace either. It won't help him here, even if he feels the ritual is true...

I... don't know. I really don't.

He is not as heartless as you think!

His motives where innocent at first but his deeds where sinful!

Would you have him condemned and killed to represent those who have already been slain by him!

Your hatred for him guides you and in hatred you can not see the truth that lies in front of you.
If you let the rage within you continue to fester so, then you shall become what that child's demon has become.

If only there was a way to cut the child away from the monster within him, then we would easily vanquish the beast.

But if seems...

If we want any sort of justice or peace for the fallen now, may we play as the heroes or as the villains in this matter?

There is still a child who fears for his life within the heart of that demon.
I merely fear that none of us will be able to reach that child for none us shall be capable to do so.

You have my condolences for Sakura's death and for many others he have murdered...
