Pity party time

So it's not really a pity party, more of an "I'm miserable" post.  No, it's not related to any kind of morning sickness.  That, thankfully, has been fairly minimal with the odd queasy times when I allow my stomach to go empty for too long.  Instead it's thanks to a headache that started out on the mild side late yesterday afternoon.  Overnight it ( Read more... )

Thank you. Timothy's being great, keeping me loaded up with hot tea. I'm just sorry it messed up our visit to my parents house for dinner. Ah well.

If advil is better for your headaches, ask your doc if she will approve it. Mine said the possible but unlikely adverse effects would be after 22 or 24 weeks, so I continued to use vitamin I for my back pain until then.

Unfortunately I can't take any form of Ibuprofen or Asprin, it's counterindicated with my kindey issues. Ibuprofen is really rough on the kidneys, Tylenol gets broken down through the liver. I had a Tylenol/narcotic med that would work on my migraines okay, but that's on the "no" list right now.

It's bad enough that I'm even thinking about chopping up one of my Oxy's left over from surgery and taking a tiny piece. :s

Oof, I'm sorry to hear that.

I had to endure a few doozy headaches during pregnancy. One landed me in the hospital, *just in case*. Another, they ended up giving me T-3.
