Seriously, the idea of them MSTing the whole fic is just too hilarious to pass up.

*now to read fic*

Oh, America. How nice all that emotion seeping into you looks. It's not even hatred, is it. These two are just so exhausting to read about and then he goes off on his whole "I'll kill him" schpeal and it's just...

...delicious.

It's certainly not hatred, but it's not...precisely love at this point, either. Or, well, it is, but there's...that something else blending into it, now. And I love it.

I honestly think the only word I can think of right now is yandere.

XD

I think NSC-68 is the most textbook yandere official document ever produced.

I got chills when I saw this on my flist. It's a bit frightening to see America's slipping sanity, because it gives you an idea of just how close these two countries came to destroying each other. You hear about the stuff the Soviet and American militaries did in the Cold War - chemical/biological experiments, mind control, hell, the US was even contemplating launching a nuke at the moon. Crazy stuff.

This just proves my point that the Cold War was nothing more than a bad breakup and America took it *really* hard.

the US was even contemplating launching a nuke at the moon.

WASN'T THAT GREAT? =D I think that's my favorite canned American military project of all time. Russia's winning the space race? He put a man in space? Well we'll just NUKE THE FUCKING MOON, see how he likes THAT!

Any sane individual: Uh, America, what does that even have to do with the space pr--

America: THAT'LL SHOW THAT COMMIE FUCKING MOON! FUCK YEAH!

Ha, I think that's pretty much how it happened. XD

And the more I think about this chapter the more bummed I get. America's still so hurt, but if he denies anything happened between him and Russia, it makes it easier for him to hate him, even though he clearly doesn't. Argh, you two. ;_;

God, I know, right? ._. He's in this headspace now that's totally incompatible with any kind of tenderness from Russia. And so he'll irrationally reject the facts to preserve that. He's...snapped, a bit. ._.

America craned his neck to look out the window. "Man, why do you always make Australia do the crappy outside jobs? I mean, you know, the storm drain...Galipoli...It's not like it's his fault he's a penal colony. Actually, it's your fault he was a penal colony. Shouldn't somebody tell him to come inside in this weather?"

Oh America, you do care about us~

man, durry. that's a word you don't hear often these days. East Coast slang, too. But I suppose using 'fag' might not work for some people =P. ciggy?

... oh yeah. HAI. this is my first time commenting on this fic (I think), and I cannot possibly tell you how much I love you guys. SERIOUSLY. This series has pretty much set the standard for Russia/America for me. It's what made it my hetalia OTP as well.
Keep up the gorgeous work!!

I think America likes Australia quite a lot more than Australia likes America back. XD But Australia is so charming and laid-back in his dislike that America never notices.

HAI =D I'm really glad you're enjoying the story!

Oh my no he does not.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T LOVE ME? EVERYBODY LOVES ME.

Everybody: Actually, uh, you've been getting a little weird lately, so, I mean, I don't--

America: NOBODY FUCKING ASKED YOU.

Everybody: ... ._.

Okay. America is officially starting to scare me a bit. And that 'Take it back' bit in the end... Geez, America, I wonder where you learned that "I'm going to kill you if you don't answer correctly" smile from? *nudge nudge*

That aside, the letter box idea sounds hilarious. XD The two trying to wriggle their way out of all the "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST KISS HIM?" questions. ... Also, um, what does MSTing mean? My dictionary gives Mountain Standard Time, but I doubt that's what you were aiming for... XD

As he should. ._. He starts coming to his senses again in...uh...about a...decade? ^_^; We don't really talk about the fifties.

Also, um, what does MSTing mean? My dictionary gives Mountain Standard Time, but I doubt that's what you were aiming for... XD

Mystery Science Theater! I realized that might be confusing to a lot of people, but I couldn't think of how to explain it succinctly. Um, imagine Russia and America sitting in a movie theater and watching the chapter play out on the screen, and they mercilessly make fun of it (and each other).
