This is like watching a dog trying to chase its tail, or a person smashing their head repeatedly against a wall. So frustrating!

I always get chills when I read this story. This installment was no exception!

Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed it! =D These two really do, just...arghh, I wanted to strangle America in this! I mean, even though I understand perfectly well WHY he's in no state to believe Russia or to even WANT to believe Russia, it's just...arghhhhh!

I know that they are countries, so alliances come and go for them, but from a more human standpoint, I can't blame America for accusing Russia of lying. He has broken up with America not once but twice, and not in the "you are a nice person, it's not your fault; the situation doesn't allow this relationship" way. He did such a good job to convince America that he hated America from the bottom of his heart, and now he just cannot un-convince him once America is in this mode ( ... )

Me neither, and for exactly the reasons you give. Yeah, America's being unreasonable, yeah, he's being paranoid, but can you blame the kid for not trusting Russia anymore and believing that Russia hates him? It's only what Russia's been trying to convince him of off and on since 1933, isn't it?

I can't imagine the Russia from Discrepancies and Interregnum responding like that... this is almost childish.

The way we see it, Russia's always had that childish aspect (it's in his character bio direct from Himaruya, after all; who are we to argue? XD) but before Bloody Sunday he did a lot better at sounding like a grownup.

They're both kind of overgrown kids, in a lot of ways. England points that out way back in Favorites, and it's still true now.

Either Russia has extreme bad luck or this relationship is cursed... it just seems like whenever America is ready, Russia is not. Now that Russia wants it, America does not want. And when America is ready to ( ... )
