My brother in the next room over is complaining about how my reaction to this chapter is impeding his ability to concentrate on homework. I'm not sorry.

First of all: SLDFKJSLD FINALLY ♥

secondly (and on a more sane note): I absolutely love how they (quite literally) just fell together. Like amnesiacs suddenly regaining memory or something; remembering how natural this was for them and it just happening. I also really love the little streams of consciousness from America - I love seeing them in fics in general, but especially in this situation, oh, my heart. ♥

"Russia--Russia--you know I care about you, right?" He searched his eyes. "I mean--a whole lot. No matter what--happens, or--what we say, or--you know, right?"

Russia gave him a flickering, confused look. "You...you do?"
Russiaaa ; u ;

Gosh, I know. It's like their bodies remember how they're supposed to fit together, even though their minds aren't quite there yet. But they will! The Krushchev Thaw was a glorious thing. ♥

Ohh, I'm a sucker for that whole "what the mind forgets, the body remembers" thing.

A glorious thing indeed. ♥

"And then he noticed Russia's hand, halfway out of his pocket: frozen, now, but reached out to steady him."

Can I get a chorus of "JUST KISS HIM ALREADY", please? ;) Glad that they did, though, soon after. God, reading this chapter just made me so, so, so happy. FINALLY. I mean. They're both incredibly dim jackasses, but they somehow deserve each other. XD

(I can never seem to get the first comment. Damn it. XD)

I think that chorus was pretty much all of us. XD

*flail* You're telling me! We both fangirled our way through the whole thing! And lasting progress may, in fact, be made! =D

Ohhhh, my heart was warmed. <333

I cried happy tears at this. How they just let down all those barriers that kept them apart and stayed together for that precious moment. Ugghh. My heart. ; u ;

You two just made my sick day all the more better. <3

I wish I could convey how freaking cute these two being awkward before the lovefest was. Holy God, it was like watching two teenagers. AGAIN. Honestly, you two....

"These new guys you've got in." America touched his lips to that spot again; held Russia in, gentle, tighter, as he nudged into it. "Bulganin and Khrushchev...they treating you okay?"

AMERICA, WHY SUCH A GOOD BOYFRIEND?? Seriously. This is too cute. No matter what, America still cares very, very deeply about Russia. And also, he calls him "Beautiful", which is SO true significant to Russia. It's all so heart-meltingly adorable and Gahh. Awesomeness.

Deep down, secretly, there is always a part of Russia/America that is 15 years old, hopelessly in love, and fail at everything. XD

AMERICA, WHY SUCH A GOOD BOYFRIEND??

HOW HE GETS TO WHOLESOME FROM GUN FELLATIO I AM NOT ENTIRELY SURE.

And also, he calls him "Beautiful", which is SO true significant to Russia.

America can't take his eyes off him. I think he's given up trying. XD
