Damn. I was close to getting the first comment. I really liked this chapter. It shows how far they've come as characters (and in their relationship) that there wasn't a fight about this. I mean- this chapter was even sweet. Very strange... but I loved it.

And god, as always, I am in love with Poland. I don't remember who wrote this chapter, but I love BOTH of your Poland's so it doesn't really matter.

"I'm sorry," Lithuania whispered. "He gets revolutionary when he's drunk." Poland drunk is the best thing, ever.

Awesome chapter, as always. I'm constantly arguing the very point that America brings up with my friends. Competition is a good thing. And without the Cold War, I can't think of any reason why we would invest in space travel. Though, I will have to admit, the benefits we've reaped are simply awesome. Tempurpedic anyone?

The bit with America wanting to touch Russia's neck is particularly gripping. I continue to bow to your talents.

Now that I've actually read it, instead of just commenting from sheer excitement, I can say something coherent? Or not....

I love this one, same as all the rest. Especially the party going on at Russia's house and America starting to be able to look past his own jealousy and think "and he would be happy--Russia wasn't happy often enough". Reading that set the whole tone of this chapter for me and it was a sweet mature d'awww. Also? Russia relaxed enough in his inner sanctuary to have his scars showing and letting America climb on him and touch him (almost) like that? HOT ♥

They really have come a long way, you know? Like, yeah, they're still dumbasses, but they're dumbasses who have been through a lot together, and they're really, honestly doing their best here. America is still immature and kinda self-centered, and Russia is stil kind ofl "ARE YOU REJECTING ME, YOU'RE REJECTING ME AREN'T YOU," but now they know these things about each other, and themselves, and they're trying to work around their faults. You know, like in real grown-up relationships.
