Oh goodness gracious, what a chapter!

I'm pretty sure I was screaming in my head the entire time. Oh maaaan. It was...really emotionally charged, this one, and that's what I absolutely love about the way you guys write. Even though there was really no...I feel, no major "action" to this chapter, it spoke volumes and volumes with the emotion. I'm always really moved whenever I read your guys' stuff. ;;

It was...really emotionally charged, this one, and that's what I absolutely love about the way you guys write. Even though there was really no...I feel, no major "action" to this chapter, it spoke volumes and volumes with the emotion.

This is seriously such a rad thing to hear! And it's funny to see the way this pairing swerves wildly between two different ways of expressing itself. We've got America, Mr. Heart On His Sleeve in one corner of the ring, and then we get Russia. And he's just Russia. Trying to get him to come out with his feeling is like pulling teeth. So they're either having these really passionate confrontations--or just bottling everything up and letting it fester. Nice, guys.

AND YES, BREATHPLAY IS EVERY WIN.

Seriously, I started tearing up when America kissed him. And they were all 'I missed youuu so freaking much' and I just lost it. And then they just clung together and America was trying to practically mesh their bodies together and the scarrr oh man. I missed this. I MISSED YOU BOYS. You have been good...:')

And WHATWHATWHAT WAS THAT BREATHPLAY HOOOO SNAP you guys just gave me a whole new kink. And it works so well with your writing, since your temperature imagery is always your best-crafted imagery, I think. <3

They're trying so desperately to make up for the time they've lost, and to be Good about it, and not screw everything up again. Which is...honestly, I think their last separation was a really good thing for both of them. It let them see that, yeah, they can be a pair of fuck-ups, sometimes, and to treat this relationship carefully.

The build-up is also just... wow, never too much or too little, it's always just right.

I'm so happy you think so! We think it's so much more rewarding to watch characters kiss after you've been on the edge of your seat hollering "JUST KISS, DAMMIT" for the past fifteen minutes.

...Of course, I am all in favor of Suddenly! Kissing! too. Or, you know. Kissing in general. >_>
