Work: At work they have decided to put on a night shift to help get things done that they haven't been able to finish during the day. The problem is the night shift is understaffed. They don't have a person who can do my job on the night shift and they will not let me move to the night shift which just means I have to put in more overtime to

If your job makes you that unhappy-you could quit, you know. Its just a job, I bet you could find a better techie job in no time at all. Or at least something you dont't absolutely hate. A happy Chuck is so much more fun than a grumpy Chuck. And now that we'll be living together, I would even moreso prefer a happy Chuck. ^__^

It's been so long I don't think they're going to do that anytime soon. (or anytime at all)

Not soon unless I tell them to. The problem is if I do tell them to lay me off at the end of the quarter my unemployment while I'm going to school will be just barely enough to cover rent. I enjoy having money to spend on people in addition to paying rent.
