I had to laugh reading about the screenplay author, that after "Blood Ties", "Alienated" and "Severed", he got to write for "Normal" - refreshing change!

It's not an original concept
And kind of awkward to have Normal after Snowcake, both dealing with the aftermath of a parent losing a child in an accident, both with Carrie-Anne Moss and Callum, both with Callum as the accidental accident responsible...

I liked the movie too, loved Callum's performance in it - which you highlight perfectly. Walt's therapy session with Carl, Walt interacting with Dennis. *loves*

HEE! One of these things is not like the other... I wonder which? ;D

Huh. You know, I didn't even really realize that Snow Cake and Normal were back-to-back. Probably because, while I watched them in that order, I put a lot of other CKR movies in the middle. But you're right, it is a strange kind of coincidence.

Thank you! \Genies/

Shockingly, Michael Riley had never worked with Callum before (though he did appear in the "due South" episode Hawk and Handsaw) - this is likely because their combined awesome causes my brain to explode.

Hee!

Air Bud movies - a franchise we can all be thankful Callum has had no involvement in. So far.

HEE! And yeah. /c\

And there is also Gabrielle Rose, who was Mrs. King in the worst BSG episode ever, and, huh, I just see that she will be in Shattered as well.

loud sex (HI CALLUM)

Oh, right. I must have repressed that one.

Clearly, this is another one of those Really Popular Movies that Callum is known for.

Sigh. I think it made more money than U&A though? Which, you know, applies to every movie ever made since the dawn of time.

I KNOW RIGHT?

Walt's therapy session with Carl. It's elegant in it's simplicity - two guys sitting across from each other - and yet it manages to say so much about who Walt is now and who Walt used to be. Callum's performance ( ... )
