Ooh, interesting. Just the son in this version, not both of them. Oh, and they are saying kidnapping, please don't let it be a thing like with Mulder's sister or something. No offense, Ben, but I hope your son is dead. Ahem. (Also, I am glad they got rid of the "girlfriend in the freezer" part)
And okay, we have: "the detective, and also a young guy, an alcoholic party guy and a somewhat crazed guy" which are the same as "a 13 year old boy, an angry alter ego bent on revenge, a very smart guy and another one who’s an inveterate party guy". So I guess young guy = 13 year old boy, alcoholic party guy = inveterate party guy, and... okay, is the detective the revenge guy or the smart guy? Or does the detective count at all? *is confused now*
I read it already in some french article (:D), that the disorder had been triggered by being victim of a shooting and his son's kidnapping. I'm not sure about that either. Maybe in the young boy personality, he incarnates his son?
I am glad they got rid of the "girlfriend in the freezer" part Seems he's got two in the oven now... /n\
Shall I confuse you some more? From the original pilot, three personalities were clearly identified: a "quiet little boy who surfaces when Kyle is at his most vulnerable" (= young guy = 13 year old boy), "a brash alpha-male alter ego" (= somewhat crazed guy = an angry alter ego bent on revenge, which seems to fit the Jack we've seen in the first trailer), "a teenage nerd who personifies Kyle’s analytical and introverted side" (= a very smart guy). Plus, in the cast, a mysterious "hostess" (= the missing "and another one who is an inveterate party guy"??).
Interestingly, at the time, Colin Cunningham - playing Jack - said "Basically, there is the 'guy' Callum, and 3 others that play 'him' as different

Heh. Bruce McDonald didn't call him 'Satan' for nothing. *g*
Interesting he mentions the 13 year old boy as one of the personalities. Maybe they didn't stray too much from the original plan after all?
Thanks for posting! :D
