I hate the thought of the loss of any works of art, but the artist and the artistic process are fascinating subjects. If I recall from an earlier post, Callum never saw Frank's Cock in it's entirety. Somehow this whole disjointed cycle of Hoolboom's process makes sense to the ever-changing, never final reality of life, and the chaos of it's creation/evolution is fitting.

Hoolboom's work is probably an extreme illustration of this ever adapting process and that's why I find it so fascinating in its honesty and permanent research. A bit dizzying too - always trying to stick with a reality which is permanently shifting.
