For anyone who's wondering, Liz's jaw surgery went "as smooth as silk", according to her surgeon (and considering what these guys get paid, I'd imagine they know the feel of silk). The boat is a little rocky emotionally, but physically, she's making fine progress recovering. She's talking (although she won't be pronouncing "unilateral" anytime soon
