Balloon behind eyes...expanding

Got back in from the trip a few days ago...sinuses acted up in LA to the point where i had to go to the ER, so now I'm left with a decision.  Do I go for the operation (that could cost thousands) or try some alternative medicine (acupuncture, for one) first?  The meds I've been given are working to a degree, but for the most part I'm still shaky ( Read more... )

I say surgery. Better to nip the problem in the bud and fix it now than drag it out interminably.

But I'm all about the allopatic medicine, as you know. ;-)

The doc told me I would likely need surgery and acupuncture worked suprisingly well. That and staying away from any airborne debris. I mean everything...smoke, dust, cat hair, pollen, smog. I spend 3 hours in a smoky bar and I'm fucked. I'm not even allergic to all of them but the particulants kill me.

Also, my life saver has been a nettie pot. It's strange to get used to be it seriously works miracles.

I've heard the surgery is horrible. Ask someone that has had it. Seriously takes like 6-8 weeks to come close to recovering.
