After two days of living in a 100 degree house, my AC guy showed up this morning and started working on the busted unit.
A few minutes ago he insisted I walk outside and survey "the issue". I told him I'd only had 2 hours of sleep and that all I wanted was a cold house.

If ever an issue again, a large bowl of ice cubes directly in front of a standard fan can help cool a place down. Of course, you'll need to relaod fresh ice every 20 to 30 minutes or so.
