kiwi is coming down in march, for 3 whole weeks!
it will be exciting.
nothing much going on. been watching the movie *frida* alot.
her self-portraits can't help but remind me of my collage and the one that sam and i did together.
remember the one where we used your dad's porn magazines, sam? lol

my mom bought me an art book that covered four female artists when I was a kid..
Frieda Kahlo was one of them. Georgia O'Keefe was another. The others didn't leave enough of an impression for me to remember off the top of my head.
Frieda's stuff scared me then... but now? hmm..
okay, it still scares me in a "I remember the time.." type of way. yea.
but a good, nostalgic, type of fear.
... I love Georgia's stuff...
