Sometimes simple is powerful. Trent Reznor, founder of NIN and originally hailing from Mercer Pa. (all my Area 3 Peeps) wrote and recorded this first. Tonight 4 of us went on tour together. It was a fun evening. I had two Ciders that I wanted to try Both made from apples. The main difference is the American one (Harpoon from New England was 5.1% alcohol I think and the English one (Aspall) was 6.8 ( Read more... )

Tonight the Z man and I started the Scotch mini tour. 5 scotches by the end of April. Plenty doable.

13 or 14 years ago Mrs Corkscrew, who wasn't Mrs Corkscrew at the time, gave me my first guitar as a present. Christmas I think it was. Maybe birthday, I'm not sure. I had told her I always wanted to learn so she got me a steel string acoustic guitar. I have 5 guitars that I play on a regular basis now. I still like to play my acoustic sometimes. Today I did a walk aerobic tape that I've had for a long time. 30 minute tape plus then I did the yoga on the wii. I was downstairs for over an hour. I did a few of the balance games too ( Read more... )

Last night was wheat beer night for me on the tour so while we watched women's Olympic Curling on TV I had a couple of these very tasty offerings.

The first one I had was a Hoegaarden draft. I guess this is a popular choice and not as rare as most of the beers on tour. It was cloudy and almost yellow in color. The taste was orangey to me but not ( Read more... )
