For the longest time I had a hard time with simple grammar and spelling. I wanted to improve, but I found my classes boring and the lessons uninteresting. I was at a loss as what to do. Amen to that~. Pen-'N-Paper is the way to go~. It's helped me a ton for establishing characters for sure, and sometimes it's like a round robin fic', but it can get interesting if there's more than one player.

Actually, I belong to an RP group that uses chat-based pen-'n-paper with a game element. We have a GM who we roll for actions against, with a d20 die, and depending on how close our roll is to the GM's, the better the GM tells us we did. Our GMs can be pretty sadistic though; he sometimes puts the characters in comas, or just kills them. o.o We also have a "coins" system though, which gives us the chance to re-roll or god mod choice situations, so no one (except for a few NPCs) has died...yet.(Hiiii~, remember me? XD I was just dropping in randomly, and I saw the post on RPing. We should try a one-on-one on AIM sometime if you're interested. I only have one RP partner I one-on-one with outside of Friday nights, and it'd be nice to try RPing with different people who have different styles. Also, yeah, I may try and pick up the ( ... )
