I haven't even been able to post, I'm just so fucking nauseated by this whole scene in New Orleans.
And the evil, hateful, corporate powers that run our country.
I want to think that "W" is just incompetent, but I'm starting to think something more sinister is at work.

Well, today was Athena's 1st day at daycare/preschool. I feel strange. Emtpy, yet not devastated as I was when Cayenne had his first day. I suppose there are fewer unknowns, she's at the lovely Waldorf family home daycare that Cayenne has attended part time since he was 2 1/2. We went to a party today, a friend's daughter's 1st b-day. The kids enjoyed playing with the balloons there, and each got one when we left, though I purposefully left Athena's b/c I could not possibly drive on the freeway and supervise her with a balloon simultaneously.
